Apple Inc. have now come up, after years, have filed 20 patents against High-Tech Computers Corp. (HTC) blaming HTC to steal it’s innovations.

“We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours.”

Apple filed the lawsuits at United States International Trade Commission and the United States District Court in Delaware. Apple blames HTC for stealing it’s technologies, related to mobile user interface (UI,) hardware.

Apple is considered to be the father of all new mobile phone technologies. Though missed out some important user functions, iPhone is a legend, innovation. But why filing now, Apple? Everyone considers Apple as innovatory and they all (Smartphone Companies) have inspired from it for new technologies.

If inspirations here, considered stealing, why filing only on HTC. There are several who followed the similar technologies like Apple iPhone.
