LG’s First Android Device

Along with cookies and chocolates, it was rumored, LG will make it’s upcoming mobile phones powered with Google Android OS. And it announced.
LG announced its first Android-based smartphone in South Korea, LG Andro-1/KH5200. Andro-1 has a 3 inch resistive touchscreen display and a bunch of connectivity specification like GPS, HSDPA, Edge,Wi-Fi 802.11b/g. The form-factor’s slideout QWERTY keyboard like Dream. The phone runs Android 1.5 (Cupcake.) It has a 5 MP camera with auto-focus and flash.
Like every competitors, LG included it’s own social networking integration, for ease of access to the famous social networking services. Andro-1 will be releasing soon in South Korea. KT, a service provider, will launch it.
The price may be low as the hardware specification doesn’t meet current Android devices, and may prove to be world’s cheapest Android device.
