From tomorrow, 3rd March, PayPal will resume withdrawals to Indian Banks.
The spokesperson Farhad Irani said on the PayPal blog, “We are currently making changes to comply with Indian regulations for settlements for exports of goods and services, and we anticipate that as of Wednesday, March 3rd, we will be able to resume the bank withdrawal service.”
As stated in the official blog, Indian members should complete a new field, ‘Export Code.’ The usage of this field is instructed today on a new blog post, and is renamed, ‘Purpose Code.’ With Purpose Code, it will be possible to pass additional wanted information to Reserve Bank of India on any withdrawals.
For FAQ and other details of Purpose Code, refer to the PayPal blog post, HERE.
Hoping Facebook will also starts its PayPal integrated service for Indian users.
