Some applications from Apple App Store like WiFiFoFum have been removed from Apple from the App Store of iPhone / iPod Touch.

Many apps like WiFi-Where, WiFiFoFum, yFy Network Finde, Sekai Camera, etc. which uses Wi-Fi have been removed from the App Store. The exact reason is still not known. Yet, some Wi-Fi finders like JiWire’s Free Wi-Fi Finder and WiFi Directory have not been removed.

Those whose applications removed received e-mail from Apple, “… has been removed from sale on the App Store for using private frameworks to access wireless information.”

No in-detail cause of the removal of applications was told to the developers. ‘Private framework’ may be iPhone’s/iPod Touch’s built-in 802.11 radio.
